Well more information is needed about your system before any REAL
suggestions can be made....how about providing some system
specs.....Processor type and speed, ram, hard disk size and type, make
and model..

This will allow you to get some meaningful answers

I'm having problems with how my computers running. It keeps stalling
every couple of minutes just for a couple of seconds and i really notice
it when i'm playing music files on Real Player as it spoils the playback
also the mouse stops moving for the duration of the stall.

It seems to be happening more and more.

I've recently converted to NTFS because i read somewhere that it was
more secure it was shortly after doing this that i first noticed the
problem. i've also recently installed Spybot and CW Shredder.
