An ISO file is a CDROM image file. You can burn the image (ISO) as is with Nero, EZCD and others. Or you can extract the files using Undisker, WinISO, ISOBuster, et al.

  Hi

Would someone please explain what file it is that has an "iso"
extension? Also, what software do I need to open it?
  Thanks.
