I don't undertand what You need. If You say that XTERM is extremely expensive
I think You mean X Window server. Software what you referenced is telnet
clients
and I am not sure that all them support xterm.
There is xterm for Windows XNS for non bussines use. Free
http://xns.com.ru
Also there is real free xtrem and X Windows system for Windows.
Actually port from Unix/linux Cygwin/X. Of course includes xterm.
