Hi Larry,
In Outlook Express, go to Tools \ Options \ Security tab and uncheck
everything but "Internet zone..." and "Warn me when other applications...".
Click "OK" and try to open/save the attachments.
I'm not familiar with configuring Norton but if it has an option in
preferences (or the equilivant) to allow certain file types, you may want to
allow those that you trust. At a minimum, save and scan for viruses before
opening.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Can't access mail attachment
Hello,
I am subscribed to a mailing list that sends large files , mpeg, zip, and
such. My problem is that when I try to open some of these files espesially
zip files it will say OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments
in your mail; . How do I get access to these files, they come from a trusted
source and I run Norton 2002 on XP home. Any help would be appritiated.
Thanks,
Larry Knox
