Does anyone know how to have the Status Bar "stick" in IE6?

Even though I click on it in from the View menu (so there is a check mark
next to it), likely as not, next time I start up IE guess what? Yep! No
status bar displayed at the bottom of the window. So once more, I have to go
back to the View/Status Bar route.

Not a disaster but nevertheless, frustrating.
