Dear Listers,

I've had this problem for awhile I finally decided to ask about it.
Sometimes, when booting up, my computer freezes on the Windows blue
screen.  You can tell it's froze because the bar on the bottom stops
moving, and the light on my CD drive is on.  A soft boot doesn't work.  I
have to do a cold boot, sometimes more than once to get it going.  This
started happening after I had a new HD installed.
