Yes there is. When OE is open and you want to send a new message you can
either go to where it says New Mail at the top left corner and click on the
little down arrow, or, you can click on the Message tab just at the top, the
one between Tools and Help, and select New Message Using...., and a list of
possible backgrounds will pop up.
