Subject: Network error message when booting up.

A friend just installed a 40X CD-ROM drive on my P133 computer running Win95B.
When I boot up I get  "Network error. The NetWare compatible shell is not
available."
This is followed by a quick - so quick I can barely read it or respond to
it-"Login" message asking for the Computer user and password. I am not on any
network.
I have tried to remove the message with no luck. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
