Aren't we all starting to beat this thing to death?

I think the bottom line to this discussion is this:
every message contributed to the thread, has been *loaded* with words
like --  if and possibly and  might be and could be and may be.  And the
reason for all those type of words is that while it  is feasible, it has
never happened.

YES, it is possible that someone can "steal" a credit card number.
NO, it is not very likely to happen in fact the chances are incredibly
small that it would (which is not the same as "could") happen.

If people only deal with secure web sights,
then they will not have to worry about it.
Let's try to dispel some of the paranoia, not fuel it.

messages may be intercepted and read
