I have an idea I saw something about this in a Fred Langa (Langa List)
newsletter - try a Google search for 'Langa lop.com' and see what
transpires. I know there was a fix for it.

> I've read awhile back about some sites hijacking your home page and
placing shortcuts on your desktop and in favorites folder. I've clicked on a
site that did all of that and also took over my search screen. I got
everything back to normal except the search screen. I used to be able to
change what sites I wanted to come up when I clicked on the search button at
the top of Internet Explorer but now all references to any changes have
disappeared. I'm using IE 5.0 and the site that hijacked me is "Lop.com"
