Easy to fix.  The gridlines are there, but you can't see them right now.
To fix, Choose: Table - Show Gridlines.

 I have a user that is using Word 2000 and trying to create lables with the
Tools\Envelopes and Lables option.  She goes to the Lables tab and hits new
document and lately she doesn't get the grey lines that outline the
individual lable locations.  This works fine on all the other machines, but
hers never does.  She is just getting a blank sheet and having trouble
creating the lables without the guides.  Please advise.
