Usually caused by an orphaned registry remnant left behind after you've
uninstalled something. Often occurs when you delete programs rather than
uninstalling them, or remove programs thru Add/Remove which doesn't always
clean up the registry properly.
Run a search of the registry for names of any programs you may have
uninstalled prior to this message appearing and delete all
references---uninstalls often leave registry entries behind.
Otherwise look in all the registry startup places and delete any refs to
old programs--see my tutorial "Computer slow to start" for details of where
to look.
Occasionally helps to run Regclean or similar registry cleaner, it might
remove some orphaned entries.
