I received the PC Soft digest and saw your post. My wife had a similar problem. Her 4.6 GB HD was partitioned into three HD drives. The reason for that I found out is that her computer was using the File Allocation Table 16, which cannot go beyond a 2 GB hard drive. To have a larger HD partition required converting to FAT 32. We purchased a program called Partition Magic. Converted her HD to FAT 32 and re-partitioned it into a C drive with 4.6 GB. We also added an additional 32 MB of Ram taking her to 64 MB and all the resource problems as well as other problems were solved. She is running W 98. I understand that the latest version of W95 can be converted to FAT 32. Please consult with someone that can answer that question. The foregoing was a much easier solution than trying to move programs and data between the various partitions. We examined all solutions with several knowledgeable computer shops and this was the recommendation favored. Good luck.
