If this were my problem, here is what I would try. If you have TweakUI installed, open it through control
panel and choose the 'Repair' tab. Then use the down arrow and select 'Repair system files' and/or 'Rebuild
icons', then hit the 'Repair now' button to the right . I don't know if this will solve your problem for sure,
but it has never created any additional problems on my pc. hth
