Do a search for any files with a .pwl extension (search on *.pwl) and
delete them all.  Then when you log back on again, just put in the user
name with out a password, select ok, and you shouldn't see it again.

For the life of me, I don 't remember the answer to this simple
question. My father-in-law has a Win98 machine and at startup, he is
asked for a user name and password and would love to bypass that. Any
