Cathy -

Woody's Office Watch (a good, free, OFFICE email) has had quite a
bit of material on Outlook/Exchange problems and strategies. You
might want to search their archives at:

http://mcc.com.au/wow/

Hope this helps, :} Jim
(BTW, Outlook 2000 is the best yet)

Subject: [PCSOFT] Moving Outlook to Exchange Server

I'm not sure if anyone can help me (or if I am in the right
group) but
our company is going to be switching from using Netscape to
Internet
Explorer and Outlook 2000. At the present time we do not have an
exchange server set up but will in the next year or so.
Unfortunately
we are being forced to switch to Explorer/Outlook before exchange
is up
and running.

My question is, has anyone had experience moving Outlook 2000
files from
a standalone pc to the exchange server. I am wondering
particularly
about the calendars. I would like to know if this is possible
(or if
its a bigger problem than starting fresh).
If anyone has had experience with implementing this or ideas
suggestions, things for us to consider I would appreciate it.

I would like to be able to warn our users of possible problems
ahead of
time before they spend hours creating something that won't be
able to
transfer over or ??? So if anybody has either gone through this
or has
ideas I would love to hear them.

Thanks for your assistance
