Hello everybody..

I have troubles again with Win3.11.

This time, The WAV files won't play properly. They seem to stall and
repeat on the first 2-3 hundredths of a second or so, and repeat until I
can cancell, or get out of Windows all together.

This gets very annoying, and so I tried to install another Wave player..
Media Rack which came with my sound card, an Action running on a AD1812
chip. I have the same problem! with this driver. Then I thought perhaps
my WAV files had been corrupted, so I tried to play files on a CD,
direct from the CD drive..same problem.

Sound works beautifully if I want to play a CD (ordinary audio) through
windows..no probs with MID files...just WAV. Sound is also excellent for
my DOS games..(Doom, Hexen etc).

I would be really grateful for any suggestions..

I have a pentium 100, running Win 3.11, DOS 6.22, 16 meg RAM

Anne Smith
