Quite correct. Modern monitors can stand quite long static picture, but you
they cant
work very long with same image. I have seen ATM where shadow image is somewhat
visible. Most of them change image after some time. They are equipment always
on.
With computers - first monitor is usually set to power saving mode after some
time,
so no image, ant second - time what almost anyone replaces his/hers monitor is
much longer than time to get luminophorus burn.
