Subject: [PCSOFT] Error loading........
original msg:--
<<<< At startup, I am getting the following error message: Error loading
C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~\BAR\1.BIN\MWSBAR.DLL The specified module could not be
found. I click OK and everything proceeds as normal. How can I get rid of
this popup message? Thanks Dollie>>>>
Hi, it appears that you had installed a search engine tool bar called "
mywebsearch" and have now uninstalled/deleted it.
if i am correct, then the uninstall is sort of "incomplete"
to fix the problem pl. see the following two links
(1)http://tinyurl.com/2rzkqj
(2)http://tinyurl.com/2w626q
NOTE: SINCE THE "FIX" INVOLVES EDITING REGISTRY ENTRIES PL EXCERCISE EXTREME
CAUTION. FIRST BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANYTHING (I ASSUME
YOU KNOW HOW TO RETRIEVE THE BACK UP IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG..IF NOT PL
POST BACK)
PRINT A COPY OF THE SUGGESTED FIX AND KEEP IT HANDY AND FOLLOW STEP BY STEP
CORRECTLY.
GOOD LUCK----Venkat
