If you are running Windows 95 or Windows NT, there is an icon in Control
Panel called "Internet".  Under the Programs tab, the last line needs to
be checked which reads "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it
is the default browser".

Next time you start Internet Explorer you will be asked if you want to
set it as the default browser.  Select yes
