Fellow PC-SOFTEES:
I have Office Pro installed at the office. Very recently whenever I
start-up Word, I get a new document with a box in the middle that says "The
Global document 'normal.dot' is already an active add-in". We have a
database software that requires Word to accomplish its mail merge feature.
Unfortunately, every time I initiate a merge through the new software, it
starts up Word and the process halts due to this little warning box that
appears on every new start up of the Word program. This warning does not
appear again so long as you don't exit the program.
I think I did something wrong ! Normal.dot is the default document that
opens with every new start up of Word but I never had to be reminded of this
before. What did I do wrong? I would really appreciate any and all help
possible as this box reminds me of a nag!
