Hi list!

The Clipboard Toolbar in the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
is terribly annoying.
-- How can I permanently get rid of this piece of junk?

According to MS Office help files, the Clipboard Toolbar is automatically
opened when two copy operations have been done, without pasting inbetween...
What's worse is that when this tiny clipboard gets "full" it says: "The
Office Clipboard can only hold 12 items. ... Do you want to copy anyway?"
[OK / Cancel]. This stupid message box gets in my way and is totally
irrelevant. Anyone agrees?

---
If you want to use a real multi clip manager I would recommend any of the
following (both are freeware):

http://www.yankee-clipper.net/index.html
"A super powerful Windows clipboard extender/memory- now in its third
generation. Handles Pictures, Richtext, URLS, etc - any size. Features
printing, drag and drop, optional permanent storage of clippings."

http://mlin.net/Clipomatic.shtml
"Clipomatic is a clipboard cache program - it remembers what was copied to
the clipboard even after new data is copied, and allows you to retrieve the
old data."

Support those guys by leaving a tip/donation.
