I agree with Peter.
Acronis allows embedded descriptions, descriptive file names,
and will put the file (or files of a backup set) anywhere you want.
For your purposes, DIRECTORIES will serve the same purpose.
Keep them separate that way. Just be careful and consistent.
When making backups of this type, I put an audit file of the
computer in the root of "C" so I can be real sure what machine
it came from. Belarc has that free for personal use.

It creates a static WEB page for you and sends NO info anywhere.
