Greg,
I did find another solution from the Pegasus mailing list: In the "prefs.js"
file in Netscape\Users\Default\ directory, you should have (or should edit
in) the following two lines:

user_pref ("mail.use_altmail", true);
user_pref ("mail.altmail_dll", "navmapi32.dll");

This "should" bring up your 3rd-party mail client when you click on a
"MailTo" link in Netscape (I'm not familiar with Eudora, so I don't know
what else you might need to do).

There is a bit more information along these lines at
http://help.netscape.com/kb/client/971223-1.html
