Presuming that you mean Win 98, have a look at O'Reilly's "Windows 98
Annoyances" ISBN 1-56592-417-7 and "Windows 98 In A Nutshell" ISBN
1-56592-486-X. They are excellent to the point references. For Registry
reference, John Woram's,  "The  Windows 98 Registry" ISBN 1-55828-591-1 is
worthy of your consideration. In the case of O'Reilly's books try to be
sure that you get the latest edition.
