In response to replies I am giving additional information: Had two
drives, each used alone at one time, each with Windows 98. Installed the
two drives, one as master, other as slave, as temporary setup. Want to
revert to having one drive, the drive now installed as slave. Had trouble
with crashes with that drive when installed as single. Want to copy data
from slave drive to CDs, and reformat that drive. CDRW and data are on
slave drive. Can access data on slave drive, but some programs won't run,
giving error messages programs need to be reinstalled. Going directly to
.exe commands, bypassing shortcuts, did not help. Installing programs on
master drive that are now on slave drive has not always worked. At
minimum, I want to get CD copying program on slave drive running to copy
data on slave drive to CDs.
