I have a question:

I'm not computer savy but here goes

Usually when I want to go on stand by
for a while I press the button on the keyboard
and a stand by button pops up for a while
the the computer goes on stand by and you
can hear it quite down. Then when I want
to go back on the computer, I just wiggle
the mouse and the computer starts back up.
Nice.

But now for some reason it computer keeps
running and the pop up remains there forever
if I let it.

So I try to back out of it and shut down the
computer but then another pop up in upper
left hand corner says wait, end task, cancel.

Iv'e clicked on all of them but they really don't
solve the problem.

Seems like I have to (sometimes) turn off all
the power to shut down. This is so time consuming
and need to know what I may have done to
cause this problem. Help Me!

Thanx for you time.
Mike H.
