Using Windows XP, go to start, and in the right column you should
see "Set Program access and default" (it is right under the control panel
option on my computer).

Subject: [PCSOFT] Making IE (6) the default Browser

I know I've asked and rcvd an answer for this but for the life of me I can't
find it. My daughter set Firefox as the default browser on our laptop and
my wife prefers IE. I've tried unchecking and rechecking the box in both IE
and Firefox that says to check whether each is the default browser, but
neither browser asks the question any more, the one that asks if you want to
make current browser the default. I've tried rebooting, but still cannot
get the question in either browser when it comes up.
