I have seen this problem on older OS systems when the system
resources were getting all used up and not released by the OS...
Does a re-boot "cure" it, only to return again later?
Is so, "some program" you are using has a memory leak, and eventually
uses up the resources... Finding it can be a pain... Fixing it can be
as simple as getting a patch (if any are available) or by identifying
the program in question (that is the pain part) and replacing it with
a different one that works properly...
