William:
Sorry, but I am just now reading your post. Depending on what version of AOL
you are using, both your address book and your favorite places can easily be
copied to a floppy disk.

Well, I had previously asked about options for getting my favorites and
address book out of AOL before pulling the plug, and didn't seem to get any
satisfactory responses. Well, the devil has whispered in my ear. MSN claims
they can convert them to MSN via software available through a third party
vendor. ( http://www.esaya.com/ )
If I take advantage of MSN's offer, is there any chance that I would then be
able to convert my favorites out of MSN, or would I be making a deal with
Uncle Bill, er, the devil? Am I just being teased, or would this be a way to
escape the clutches of AOL?
