I use EudoraPro 5.1 for the PC. Whenever I click on a message link in PCSoft, instead of going to the message I get an error message as follows.
EudoraPro MAPI Installer: Error: Could not run program: cid:23058@MAILSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU
Then, if I go to Options in Eudora to turn on MAPI, I always get the further error message:
Could not install Eudora MAPI system because MAPI.DLL and/or MAPI32.DLL are in use. Please close any MAPI clients that are running.
But I can't find any MAPI clients that are running. I've even closed down as many running programs as I know how to by using EndItAll.
So, how do I get MAPI to run in EudoraPro? (I have found no way to get through to Qualcomm about this, their help site just gives you the run around, as most help sites do these days.)
