Dear Readers:

I have a single hard drive, running Win 98SE. The 30 gb. hard drive has
been partitioned into 5 logical drives: C through G.

In opening 'My Computer', the Icons for the drives C and G have changed from
the grey representation of a hard drive to another icon which looks like the
kind of icon one would expect if Windows sees a file type that it does not
recognize.

When I left click to open the hard drive, it will not do so. To look at the
logical drive C or G, I first right click and then select 'Open', and I get
the info that I need.

Any suggestions on how to restore the drive icons for C and G?

Many thanks.
