I posted this originally to PCSOFT and was told it was PCBUILD material . I tried that and the one suggestion I got but still have the problem . I think it is a software problem . On a 133 win 95 upgraded to 98 system a dos based programme which used to print has now stopped . The programme which used to run on a different system would hang that computer if there was a printer problem . But now it accepts it as if it has printed . I tried reinstalling the driver , got another printer , installed its driver and still no printing . I tried forcing printing from the DOS prompt and nothing . Both printers print from win 98 so I'm thinking somewhere software , probably in Win 98 . Help ?
