You have the made the right and safe decision. Other than that, do you also
plan to play it on DVD players too? With MPEG1, you can make VCD CD which
can be viewed on TV with a VCD-capable DVD player. If you're only
interested in viewing it on computer, you may try DivX 5  (www.divx.com)
which is probably smaller and of higher quality than MPEG1. For MPEG1
encoding, try www.tmpgenc.com.
