Hi,

you will find the setting just below "control panel" in the START menu

in other words..... start/set program access & defaults/non-microsoft.

You can also access via control panel/add--remove programs. on the lefthand pane you will get "set program access & defaults". click on this and since you wish to set default for your browser(opera) click on "non-microsoft".
