At Cnet Help.com , I found the following application to be typed for the 'shutdown' shortcut for Windows95/98 systems:
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.EXE User, ExitWindows
Any comments ?!! Which OS do yo use ?

Here is what I do. Right click on destop. Click new and then "shortcut".
Then type this:
<<C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindows>>
I named it Shutdown. And it certainly does that.
