I think this may have been addressed before, but I can't recall the
answer. I just installed a second hard drive in my system (Win98). The
primary drive (original) is 3.2gig with two partitions. The secondary
drive (new) is 6.8gig with four partitions. All my programs were are on
the 3.2. When I installed the new drive, Windows named the partitions
as follows:
C: Partition 1 on 3.2
D: Partition 1 on 6.8
E: Partition 2 on 3.2
F-H: Partitions 2-4 on 6.8
Since my programs were on the "original" D: drive , and it is now
renamed E:, you can imagine I am having all sorts of problems.
Is there a way to force Win98 to rename the drives back to C: and D: on
the 3.2 drive and then continue with E: on the new drive? (Please don't
tell me I am going to have to reinstall everything that was on the D:
drive.)
