Hello Jimmy,
Try clicking on:
Start
Run
then type "msconfig" without the quotes and hit enter.
This will pop up the System Configuration Utility
Now you may click on the StartUp Tab and this will list most things
starting up when XP boots.
I'm not sure if that will suit your needs but it's free.
