Hi Byron,
go to >options< in the field where you choose the effect frame. Choose
measuring from text, uncheck the frame going around the topline and footer
and check that the frame will follow the side's margins. Go back to your
Word document and set the margins until you can get even the lower end of the
frame visible and printed.
Hope this will help, I only have Word 2000 but remember it was quite similar in
older versions where I worked it out first.
