FlashPlayer can be a real pain.

You often have to uninstall it with a special uninstall tool before it will 
re-install properly.

Otherwise, as you've found out, it will just dumbly keep looping back to 
the install page.  You'd think that by now Adobe would have fixed the 
problem, or at least point you in the right direction.

I had to email Adobe Tech Assistance to fix this prob on my own computer a 
couple of years ago. They have a standard response which directs you to the 
right place.

You can get the special free uninstall tool from Adobe's site. Or I can 
email it to you if you wish--it's quite small.
