The first question to ask is "Are the applications you want to run
available?".  Second, if you are fairly satisfied with Windows 98 SE,
what improvements are you looking for?  Beyond that, I don't have any
direct experience with BeOS.  I'm looking for your motivation in asking
the question to figure out if there are improvements available in
Windows.
