Hi -
I don't know a fix for the sound, but I know how to change capitals to
lower or mixed case.
In Word -
- Select the text to be changed.
Then you have two options
Shift + F3
toggles though three options: Capitals, Lowercase, and Initial
Caps
Format - Change Case
gives you even more capitalization options
Hope this helps -

Subject: [PCSOFT] Caps Lock Key
A friend of mine keeps accidently hitting the "Caps Lock" key and ends
up typing a lot before he notices what he has done. He went into Control
Panel/Accessibility Options/Togglekeys to have it make a sound when he
hits Caps Lock.
Unfortunately it doesn't work. He does not hear any sounds.
Does anyone know a fix for this or a program that will do the same
thing.
He's running Windows ME and Office 2000.
Thanks for your help.
