Aside from the usual bugs, we've run Office 97 on every win9x an NT version
of windows with no problems.  Outlook 98 is a must upgrade if you plan to
use it (I have run outlook 2000 with OFFICE 97 Pro. If I remember, that took
a little effort, Outlook 98 was an effortless upgrade). You can do this
without up-versioning word, excel, etc.  At the very least get all the
service packs.  Unless you are on a budget, the later Office 2000 is really
much better.
