Imight add that in Spybot S&D there IS an option that will stop hijacking of
your homepage. It can be activated by starting Spybot in Advanced Mode, then
click on "Immunize," then you will get a prompt that says "All known bad
products are already blocked, click on "OK". You will then see a scroll bar
to the right of the progress indicator, scroll down and you will see the
anti hijacking options there. For maximum protection, select all three
options AFTER you change your homepage back to where you like it.

[PCSOFT] search-space.com taking over IE

Jack - have you tried HiJackThis? It's pretty good at digging out rubbish.
You can get it here as well as a lot of other spyware stuff:

Hopefully someone can help me with this problem.

I have a client with ME on her computer. It is running great except her
home page in IE keeps changing to 'search-space.com'. I have updated and ran
both Ad-aware6 and Spybot. I also ran 'RegSeeker' to search for anything to
do with search-space and deleted everything it found. I also ran the clean
registry part of RegSeeker and deleted everything it found as well. I ran
Window Washer and BHO Demom too. I then reinstalled IE6 with sp1. When I
reboot, and then open IE it opens to Google (her home page) and then after a
few minutes, switches back to search-space.com.
