Jim -

Take a look in the Registry (HKCU\Control panel\PowerCfg).
Anything pop out?  I had some strange looking stuff in there
myself.

My system crashed during a storm (yeah.... I know <g>)
and somehow I've lost the ability to suspend.  When I go to POWER
MANAGEMENT in the CONTROL PANEL, I only have two settings
LAPTOP/NOTEBOOK
and ON ALL THE TIME.

Can someone tell me how to reinstall the HOME setting and get
back my
suspend mode?
The Win98 CD was no help. sigh....
