Olushola,

You did not say what version of Outlook; these are for Outlook 2000. All versions are pretty much the same. Here is what to do:
Click Tools, then Options...on the Preferences, click "Email Options..." The very first item is "After moving or deleting an open item:" followed by a drop down menu, change the drop-down to "open the next item." Click OK to save the change. I did not find a similar operation on Outlook Express.
