It does not sound like your databases are very large, so keeping it all in
one file should be ok. For safety reasons, you simply need to keep backup
copies of the database file. If there is no need to look at the previous
years' records except in special circumstances, then you could keep separate
files, but usually this is not a convenient situation.

Does anyone know the best length of any databasse in Access?  For instance,
would it be best to say keep 150-200 staff training records in separate
databases, one for each year, ie, 2000, 2001, 2002, etc?  Or to keep them
all in one database?
