The DirectX 8.1 installation went successful, but when testing with DxDiag,
the DirectX diagnostics program, everything is fine, including the Direct3D
tests, but when it's to test Direct3D using the DirectX 8 interface, it
does not display and in the notes I get

"Failure at Step 5 (GetDeviceCaps) 3D not available"


The Direct 3D test is OK when testing Direct3D using the DirectX 7 interface.

Why??? This happens NO MATTER what version of the Detonators I'm using!!!!!

If there's any Microsoft known issue article about the above major issue,
please give me a link to the page.
