Hi All.

(sigh....yet another problem....)

I recently purchased a Ricoh CD-RW and it came bundled with Seagate (now
Veritas?) Backup Exec. However, I cannot install the program. As soon as
I try and install, I get an error message from 'winsetup' that says:

Run-time error 367. Can't load (or register) custom control 'MCI16.OCX'.
the installation aborts every time before it even gets started.

The above named file resides on my hard drive in the systems folder, and
it comes on the CD installation program. I have tried to replace the
version on my hard drive with the version from the installation CD, but
the same error occurs.

Does anyone have any advice to offer as to how I get around this
(terminal) roadblock?
