I have a friend who lost all the 1200 e-mails that we have been sending
back and forth for five years. It is sort of a diary of our lives.
I tried to save the .snm file to a CD but when I try to view it..it asks
what program to "open with"..and when I pick a word viewer, it comes up
all gibberish.I assume it is html..lots of the e-mails contain phtos and
.gifs. I would like to be able to save all this correspondence
permanently and to be able to read it, and also send her a copy on CD.
I have thought about forwarding all the e-mails to her ..but it would be
a huge task. I use Netscape 7.0
I am sure there are many readers who would like to know how to do this.
Can you help please?
Thank you very much your newletter is very informative.
Sincerely,
Carol Peddle
